Chattanooga Gets $90K Grant for Coolidge Park Band Shell Cover

Chattanooga don get $90,000 tourism grant for Coolidge Park band shell cover. This one na big news for the city! The money go help dem buy and install weather-protective cover for the band shell wey dey Coolidge Park. Tennessee Department of Tourist Development give dem the grant on Monday morning.

According to city press release, the grant go cover part of the money wey dem need for the band shell cover. This cover na important part of the Coolidge Park Live and Electric Project. With this cover, dem go fit do events anytime, rain or shine. Dem plan to build permanent stage and update the electrical system so that e go be professional venue wey dem fit use throughout the year.

Tennessee Department of Tourist Development give out over $2 million for tourism enhancement grants to 30 communities. Dem say the grants go help towns and counties invest in their tourism and bring more visitors and money to the area.
