Most of the rain we go see today go be very light, with only a few expected to reach 0.25″. Isolated thunderstorm dey possible, but most of wetin we go see today go be light rain. Gusty winds go be problem most of the day with speeds between 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.
The Weekend Forecast
Additional showers dey possible again Friday, but rain go gradually reduce during the second half of the day as drier weather take over. Afternoon highs go still run cool with most of us for the low 50s under cloudy sky. But don't worry, drier and warmer weather dey settle in for the weekend with Saturday morning clouds giving way to sunshine and low 70s. Sunday go feature mostly sunny skies and upper 60s before another cold front come in late in the day. That front go be dry one and should only knock temperatures down 5-10°.
Freeze Warning!
The National Weather Service don issue freeze warning overnight for Williamson and Burnet counties, with temperatures as low as 29 degrees dey expected Tuesday between 3-8 a.m. A sudden 25-degree drop don leave afternoon temperatures struggling to climb out of the 40s. So, Central Texas brace yourself for cold!
